Meet Our Team
Cyni Crary - DirectorI lived in Portland, Oregon for many years where I received my degree and worked in marketing, training development and management. My first trip to Wrangell was in 2005 and shortly after I moved my family to this beautiful little island. I started my journey in Wrangell working for the school district and then advanced my career by becoming the Executive Director of the Wrangell Chamber of Commerce for several years. My new role as the Director of the Nolan Center began in the summer of 2018. I have four children and enjoy the outdoors, art, crafts, reading, theater, history and nature.

Michael Bahleda - Coordinator
I grew up in the Anchorage and Eagle River area, so Alaska is always home for me. After about ten years in the lower 48, it was time for me to return to Alaska. My parents moved to Wrangell in 2021 and suggested for my new family to come to Wrangell. We love the community here, and are excited to raise our son here. I began working as the Coordinator for the Nolan Center in August of 2022, helping events in the Civic Center, managing the theater, and assisting in the Gift Shop and Museum. |
Tyler Eagle - Collections Manager
I was born and raised in Wrangell, where I've also spent a decent portion of my life. I attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, where I received a B.A. in History. I began working for the Nolan Center in late 2021, and my current duties include maintaining the museum's collection of objects, managing lobby displays and traveling exhibits, and whatever else needs to be done to keep the center working day-to-day. |
